The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is one of the most intense competitions a normal person can take part in. 40,000 nautical miles around the world visiting every continent, bar Antarctica. Taking part in the production of the official documentary ‘The Race of Their Lives 2” as a Lighting Cameraman is still one of the highlights of my career. I followed the crews everywhere from the race start in London in August 2015, through to Rio de Janeiro, Cape Town, Albany, Sydney, Hobart, Da Nang, Qingdao, Seattle, New York, Londonderry, Den Helder and back to London in August 2016. This is the type of job that changes you as a person and it changed my career forever. Parts of the documentary were used as social media content and there was a significant amount of content captured for news broadcasting with ITN acting as the official broadcaster.

The show was first broadcast on Sky Sports in September 2016.
